Welcome to Treasured Friends Rescue!!

Treasured Friends is a no-kill, non-profit animal rescue group dedicated to care and placement of abandonded/unwanted pets. Strictly foster based, our volunteers provide food, shelter, care, and compassion to our furry friends until they find a loving home. Our mission is to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering pets to avoid pet overpopulation, and find a warm, safe place for every adoptable dog or cat to call their forever home.

Marigold

Marigold loves to be petted. She has been waiting for a home for 1 year and 7 months and counting. She loves to play and rub on your legs and demands attention. She doesn't really like to be picked up, but she will tolerate it for a little bit. Right now, she is in a foster home and has to stay in a room by herself. She would be great in a quiet home with someone who can give her the love that she craves. She is great with other cats. Please contact us if you are interested in adopting her.

Calie

Calie was left outside and had four kittens. Some nice people took care of her and her family and now she is ready for a home of her own. She has been with us for quite a long time and would love a home for the holidays! If you have room for one more family member to love, please contact us.

Zena

Poor Zena was left behind when her family moved away. How could they not take her with them? She has tons of personality, and loves to go for walks. She would love to get out of her cage and have some room to run and play! If you have room for Zena in your heart and home, please contact us.

Cubby Bear

This little boy came to us with a broken leg that was never fixed. His leg had to be amputated because it was too late but he gets around just fine without it! He's a very happy little guy and loves everyone! If you have room for Cubby Bear in your heart and home, please contact us.

SPAY/NEUTER DAY FOR CATS AND DOGS

Our next dates for transport to the NAWS clinic in Mokena, IL will be on Tuesday, January 24th. Please register at the Petsmart in Schererville on Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Email us for further information. Advance registration is required. We will continue to offer the 2 for 1 spay/neuter for cats. You pay for one and the other is free. Rabies vaccination is required. If you have a current rabies certificate, you must bring a copy when you register.

PLEASE HELP US END THE PET OVER POPULATION BY HAVING YOUR CATS AND DOGS SPAYED OR NEUTERED.
