Ways to help

Many people believe that if they can't foster an animal or donate money there is no way for them to help. WRONG! There are a million ways to help homeless animals besides taking them home. The following is just a few ways you can help. If your interested please contact us at  TreasuredFriendsRescue@gmail.com or Phone: 219-381-8562.

Other ways to help

  • Speak to people interested in adopting pets at adoption days 
  • Feed and water the animals and walk dogs at adoption days 
  • Help set up cages at adoption days 
  • Play with and walk animals housed at our partner animal controls 
  • Work at events like spaghetti dinners, yard sales, and barbeques
  • Help fundraise money 
  • Bake items for bake sales 
  • Make items to be sold or raffled off (crafts& gift baskets)







Treasured Friends can be found every Saturday and Sunday at the Petsmart, 711 Indianapolis Blvd, Schererville, IN from 12-4 pm.
Treasured Friends is a non-profit, foster style cat and dog rescue.
